The new CONNECT routes and schedules will go into effect on:

The CONNECT Transit Plan has been a multi-year outreach, planning, and design process culminating in a new look and schedule for bus service in South Bend, Mishawaka, and Elkhart. One of the biggest changes is a one-seat ride from Downtown South Bend to Downtown Elkhart and vice versa on the new-look Route 30, which will continue to be jointly operated by Transpo and the Interurban Trolley. Transpo will also be adding a new Route 2, extended Route 7, and many other alignment changes to streamline service throughout the area. The Trolley will be implementing an updated Route 35 to improve service to the east side of Elkhart, and changes to Route 32 to come later this year.​

New signs have already been installed for the new route locations, and drivers will be training on the new routes on Sundays in May outside of normal service hours. Please view the new routes and schedules, as well as our interactive map, to better understand how the changes will affect you.
