PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
MACOG and Transpo invite all in the region to be involved in the CONNECT Transit Plan through a series of community forums and meetings to be held in person, virtually and/or live streamed on MACOG and Transpo's social media sites.
CONNECT will strive to set the stage for the most inclusive, authentic outreach and engagement. Innovative outreach and engagement assures the right people will be in the room and a cross section of the region will have a seat at the table.
CONNECT will uplift the voices and will highlight the lived experiences of a broad base of diverse stakeholders, including from communities of color and historically underrepresented populations in urban and rural areas.
CONNECT will aim to listen to range of perspectives of and design solutions that best meet the collective needs of:
-
Persons who are transit dependent
-
Persons who may opt in to using transit
-
Organizations and businesses who employ workers and/or provide services to people facing transportation issues
